my dreams.

After so many ups and downs, I have joined Dainik Bhaskar in last week of August. For innovative, energetic, smart, bold, intelligent, ambitious people, this group offers big opportunities to prove themselves.
I believe in creating opportunities. If I have something to prove, I do not need to wait for opportunities. I can creat them.
I have so many dreams. I want to be known for my writtings. I want to author so many books based on my experiences. I want to to do photography in jungles and villages.I want to write books for children, as my father did. but I want to write more useful, more authentic books. factful fiction you can say.
I want to do so many kinds of trainning, like photography, journalism, atiquates, spoken English etc. I want to read books from all over the world.
I want to become a graduate.
I want a happy home with no one to disturb. A bank accout with a good balance. A four wheeler with fuel. And a driving licence. I see myself driving long.
Every morning I want to go for morning walk. I want to play football.
Though I am overweight. I am fourty plus. I am alone. I am tired.

आज का दिन

आज का दिन घटनाप्रधान रहा। कुछ रोज पहले इस्तीफा देकर गया दोस्त आज लौट आया। जब वह जा रहा था तो मैने उसे रोकने की बहुत ज्यादा कोशिश नहीं की थी। मैं खुद नहीं जानता कि उसका यहां रहना उसके लिए कितना ठीक था। उसे दो चार दिन दूसरे प्रेस में काम करके लगा कि वहां रहना कठिन है। वजह जो भी रही हो। वह लौट आया है।
आज दो नए लोगों ने प्रेस ज्वाइन किया है। एक फोटोग्राफर है। थोड़ा बहुत समाचार भी बना लेता है। उससे उम्मीद है कि अच्छा काम करेगा। दूसरा पिछले प्रेस में मेरे साथ काम कर चुका एक दोस्त है। बहुत सरल स्वभाव का है। बहुत क्रिएटिव। बहुत हंसमुख। काम करने को हरदम तैयार। पारिवारिक विषमताओं के बीच भी मुस्कुराने के मौके नहीं चूकता। ऐसे लोगों के लिए ईश्वर से दुआ मांगने का मन करता है कि उनकी मुस्कुराहट को बरकरार रखे।
आज कुछ मित्रों ने यह अखबार ज्वाइन करने में हिचक दिखाई। उनकी हिचक जायज है। नया अखबार है। मैं प्रदेश की राजधानी में, घुटे हुए लोगों के बीच, एक अखबार को निरंतर आगे बढ़ाने की क्षमता नहीं रखता। मैं किसी दावे के साथ नहीं, एक उम्मीद के साथ काम कर रहा हूं। जिन्होंने हिचक दिखाई उन्हें अपने बारे में तय करने का पूरा हक है।
आज मैं घर में अकेला था। नाश्ता खुद बनाया। दिन में खाना खाने का मौका नहीं लगा। दोस्त से कुछ समोसे मंगवाकर खा लिए। जेब में पैसे नहीं हैं। होली मनाकर घर से लौटते वक्त बारिश होने लगी थी सो एक बरसाती खरीद ली थी। उसी में पैसे खर्च हो गए।
आज दो विज्ञापन डिजाइन करवाए। इसके होर्डिंग बनेंगे।
तो ये था आज का मुख्तसर सा किस्सा। अब आप यह मत पूछने लगिए कि इसका घटनाप्रधान वाला हिस्सा कब आएगा।

I am in Dhamtari once again. This time for Holi. Last year I took so many photographs of so many coloured faces.

How little we know

A few days back I went to a potter's house. He was busy making earthen pots. I took some photographs of him. He politely told me that he can not tell about his work.It was his simplicity. Because his work spoke all about him. I was amazed when I watched him making pots. He took a minute to creat a small size pot. Within minutes he made half a douzen. That day first time I knew that a big lump of kneeded soil is dumped on the wheel and that soil is given shape. Before this I thought that it was a plateform and every time the potter takes some soil and shape that. How litte we know about out surroundings? And how exciting things we miss?

I visited vidhansabha the first time

Today I visited vidhansabha, the lagislative assembly of Chhattisgarh. It was a journey full of enlightenment.
There are serious people who talk at length about so many things I know little about. And there are ministers who know little about things and when they answer cross questions, the house laughs.
If someone wants to know how wealthy our state is, he should visit vidhansabha. It is in a big premises, there are gardens, fountains, big halls, big rooms, computers, phones, fax machines, sofa, ac, canteen and almost every thing politicions and press may need to smoothly perform their duties. Vehicles take the press to vidhansabha free of cast.
I have some questions. why so many people reach vidhansabha when they dont deserve this? And why this much facilities for a few people, when there are lot many problems all over the states? I dont think so many mediapersons, like me, really understand what exactly is going on.
But there are people who learn something everytime they visit there. There are people who raise issues. There is a brighter side of it too.

Meeting with Seema Kapoor

Meeting celebrities excites. So it was exciting when I met seema kapoor. And I came to know that how simple she is. She was so tired but she gave us time late in the night. She is making a film about Chhattisgarh. The film moves around Mahanadi, the holy river and life line for lakhs of people who live close to it.I hope Seema will come out with a beautiful movie. My beautiful state Chhattisgarh needs such type of presentation.
